Office Assistant / Administrative Assistant

Location: Whitby, ON
Job Type: Part-Time
Company: Vandenboom Properties Inc. / Multiple Business Operations

We are currently looking for a reliable and organized Office Assistant to help manage daily operations across multiple business streams. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, professional, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and comfortable handling administrative duties independently.

Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day office administrative tasks
Handle document filing, scanning, printing, and organization
Answer emails, phone calls, and assist with client communication
Maintain records, invoices, and receipts
Assist with QuickBooks data entry and basic bookkeeping tasks
Coordinate schedules, appointments, and office tasks
Support property management and business operations
Prepare and organize documents and reports
Assist with tenant communication and basic Landlord & Tenant Board (LTB) processes
General office support and administrative duties as assigned

Requirements:

Previous office assistant or administrative experience required
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience using QuickBooks is required
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and efficiently
Professional attitude and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience handling invoices, rent records, or tenant files
Customer service experience is an asset
