Full job description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to join our team. As a Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of children in our care. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families.

I need a strong individual to work with challenging children/behaviours

Duties:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime
- Assist with feeding, diapering, and toileting as needed
- Monitor children's behavior and intervene when necessary
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other childcare providers to create a positive learning environment
- Follow all health and safety guidelines

Experience:
- Previous experience in caregiving or working with children is preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices is a plus
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques is beneficial
- Ability to educate and engage children in fun and interactive activities

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass a background check
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, flexibility, and a genuine love for working with children
