Full job description

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Millwright to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate is hands-on, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This position involves installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various industrial systems.

Key Responsibilities

Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of plant equipment.
Work with high-pressure steam systems.
Handle electrical, pneumatic systems, cooling towers, and steam lines.
Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure equipment reliability.
Execute welding tasks and mechanical repairs.
Manage parts purchasing and inventory.
Participate in process improvement initiatives.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues under pressure.
Support continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with high-pressure steam systems.
Knowledge of fixed machinery mechanics (Class 4 license is an asset).
Familiarity with polystyrene equipment is a plus.
Strong skills in electricity, pneumatics, and welding.
Ability to work independently and demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset.
Analytical and problem-solving skills; calm under pressure.
“Go-getter” attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
Would ideally be able to travel to Montreal for a 2-week training.
