Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate ECA (Early Childhood Assistant) Staff members to join our team on a part-time basis. This role involves supporting early childhood education programs, assisting with classroom activities, and providing a nurturing environment for young children. Ideal candidates will have a passion for working with children and a desire to make a positive impact on their development. Prior experience in early childhood education or caregiving is preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidates.

Responsibilities

Assist lead teachers in implementing daily classroom activities and lesson plans
Support children’s social, emotional, and educational development through engaging interactions
Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
Provide care and supervision to children during various activities, including playtime, meals, and rest periods
Foster positive relationships with children and parents to promote a welcoming atmosphere

Skills

Prior classroom experience or working with children is preferable
Strong teaching and caregiving skills with patience and empathy
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a dynamic environment
Excellent communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues
Reliable, responsible, and committed to creating a safe learning environment

Pay: $17.60 per hour

Work Location: In person
