Location: Whitby, ON
Pay: Starting at $20.00/hour (Performance-based wage increases after training)
Job Type: Part-Time to Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Flexible Weekday Schedule

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated AZ Driver to join a growing construction equipment transportation team based in Whitby, Ontario.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the construction transportation industry. The successful candidate will receive hands-on training in transporting construction equipment, flatbed operations, and safe load securement.

The position will begin on a part-time basis (approximately 25–40 hours per week) and is expected to transition into full-time hours as business demand increases.

Responsibilities

Operate manual transmission AZ trucks.
Complete local deliveries of construction equipment and materials.
Learn to safely load and unload construction equipment.
Secure loads using straps and chains.
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Maintain a strong safety record and professional attitude.
Work closely with experienced team members during the training period.

Requirements

Valid Ontario AZ Driver's Licence.
Minimum 25 years of age (insurance requirement).
Clean Driver's Abstract and CVOR.
Experience driving manual transmission commercial trucks.
Physically capable of strapping and securing loads.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Reliable transportation to the Whitby yard.

Assets

Flatbed experience.
Construction delivery experience.
Experience with load securement.
Moffett forklift experience.
Heavy equipment operation experience.
