Job description

We are currently looking for a Part-time Personal Assistant to our General Manager to join our team based out of Pickering Ontario. The Personal Assitant needs to be flexible in adapting to fast pased environment and changing demands.

Our Personal Executive Assistant will provide various administrative, support, and coordination tasks needed to support our General Manager’s duties.

This role involves a high level of administrative support, scheduling, coordinating, and multitasking.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Perform a variety of administrative and support duties in support of Managment;

· Schedule and coordinate appointments/meetings;

· Set up and maintain scheduling system for manager;

· Fill out forms, gather documents, proof read information, and correspond with others as directed by Manager;

- Prepare, edit and proofread correspondence, invoices, presentations, brochures, publications, reports and related materials as required;

· Occasionally answer telephone and electronic enquiries and relay telephone calls and messages as required;

· Arrange travel schedules and make reservations as needed;

· Open and distribute incoming regular and electronic mail and co-ordinate the flow of information internally and with other departments and organizations;

· Greet and direct visitors to appropriate person(s);

· Post regular updates on website;

· Help with arranging food and/or refreshment orders/deliveries;

. Set and remind Manager of upcoming appointments, tasks, and meetings;

.Prepare documents and other information as required by Manager;

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

· Minimum 2 years of experience working in an office space;

. Must be personable, honest and reliable with time management skills;

· Ability to work some weekends preferred;

. Ability to interact with people effectively and in a professional manner;

· Must be proficient with computers, especially Microsoft Office Suite (required);

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Flexible language requirement:

French not required

Ability to commute/relocate:

Pickering, ON L1W 3V5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
