Full job description

Whitevale Golf Club

Whitevale Golf Club is looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Back Shop Attendants for the upcoming golf season.

The Back Shop plays an important role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our members and guests. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, being around the game of golf, and providing excellent service in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist members and guests upon arrival
Load and unload golf bags from vehicles and golf carts
Maintain and organize the bag storage and staging areas
Assist with the daily preparation and staging of golf carts
Clean and maintain golf carts and other back shop equipment
Assist members and guests with golf bags, push carts, and other equipment
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance throughout the back shop and surrounding areas
Assist with member and guest requests in a friendly and professional manner
Support the Professional Shop and golf operations team as required
Follow all club policies and procedures, including safety guidelines
Perform other duties as assigned by the Golf Shop Management Team

Qualifications

Friendly, outgoing, and approachable personality
Strong customer service and communication skills
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
Able to perform physical duties, including lifting and moving golf bags
Previous golf course or customer service experience is an asset, but not required
Knowledge or interest in the game of golf is considered an asset
Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
