Sunray Hotels - Courtyard & TownePlace Suites by Marriott Oshawa is the first of its kind in Oshawa, strategically located just north of Highway 401. Our hotel is designed to cater to both leisure and business travelers, offering exceptional amenities and services to ensure a memorable stay.

Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Guest Service Agent to join our team at Sunray Hotels - Courtyard & TownePlace Suites Oshawa. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing outstanding customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your contributions will play a vital role in enhancing the guest experience.

Responsibilities

Welcome guests upon arrival and provide them with information about hotel services and amenities.
Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently while ensuring accuracy.
Respond promptly to guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints with professionalism.
Maintain knowledge of local attractions and events to assist guests with recommendations.
Handle phone calls and reservations using hotel phone systems with excellent phone etiquette.
Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
Use the Guest Experience Platform (GXP) to log all guests perferences and feedback.
Perform service recovery on the spot using the LEARN and Service Recoery Model.
Enroll Guests in Marriott BonVoy to reach hotel goals.

Requirements

Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred.
Strong communication skills with a focus on providing excellent guest experiences.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Familiarity with front desk operations and hotel management systems is a plus.
