Job Overview

Embark on an exciting journey as a Pharmacy Intern, where you will gain invaluable hands-on experience in a dynamic healthcare environment. Responsibilities

Assist licensed pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and offering guidance on over-the-counter products
Support inventory management by organizing stock, checking expiration dates, and restocking shelves
Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient interactions in compliance with regulatory standards
Learn and apply medical terminology to understand prescriptions, labels, and patient instructions
Participate in pharmacy operations such as processing insurance claims and managing administrative paperwork
Uphold safety protocols and confidentiality standards to ensure a secure and trustworthy environment

Requirements

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited pharmacy program or related healthcare field
Strong understanding of medical terminology and pharmaceutical practices
Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and efficiently
Demonstrated enthusiasm for learning about pharmacy operations and patient care
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
