Full job description

Shift: Monday to Thursday, 3:30 PM to 1:30 AM
Pay: $22–$28 per hour (based on experience)

We are currently seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our client in Pickering, Ontario. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating manual machining equipment and be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Operate manual milling machines, lathes, drill presses, and other shop equipment
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
Set up machines and perform precision machining operations
Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure quality and accuracy
Maintain tight tolerances and quality standards
Perform basic machine maintenance and keep the work area organized
Work safely and efficiently to meet production deadlines

Qualifications

Experience operating manual milling machines, lathes, drill machines, and related equipment
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Strong understanding of machining practices and measuring techniques
Must have own tools and measuring gauges
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable and able to work afternoon shifts
