OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

We are hiring a talented Warehouse Technician to join our team in our Whitby office. If you're excited to be part of a winning team, Echelon Supply and Service is a great place to grow your career.

Hours: 8:30 - 5:00; 40hrs a week

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assembling industrial & hydraulic hoses
Visually inspect completed assemblies
Interact with customers and fulfill their product requests/needs
Stock handling and inventory managing
Picking and packaging customer orders
Loading/Unloading trucks
Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
Pressure test hose to ensure accurate, safe and quality made assemblies
Complete miscellaneous shop duties as required

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior manufacturing or production experience is considered an asset
Valid Driver’s License required with clean abstract / reliable transportation to and from work
Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, as many warehouse items are cumbersome and heavy
Enjoys a physically demanding environment that includes heavy lifting and moving constantly throughout your shift
Ability to learn and function fluently with in house computer software
Contribute to an upbeat atmosphere in the workplace by supporting and aiding all team members
Excellent communication skills, a mechanical aptitude and detail oriented with a desire to learn
Awareness of Health & Safety and Security measures in place to prevent injuries
Understanding of how to dispose of hazardous waste material in a safe manner
