Just Lubes Ltd. is looking for an experienced Territory Manager to join our growing team! The Territory Manager, under the direction of the District Manager will manage the daily operations of a multi-site network of Jiffy Lube locations.
In accordance with identified company goals, the Territory Manager will strive to obtain optimum efficiencies, consistency of operations, maximize profit and deliver overall operational excellence. To achieve these goals, the Territory Manager will have extensive experience automotive service and Franchise Management, be passionate about providing industry leading customer service and be a Health and Safety champion, ensuring all stores follow the required policies, procedures, and regulations.
The store locations are in the GTA, Eastern, Central and Northern Ontario, so the successful candidate will need reside within a reasonable drive to visit the stores on a regular basis.
Job Duties:
- Ensure all stores follow proper health, safety, and environmental procedures in compliance with all municipal, provincial, and federal regulations.
- Work with stores to ensure we provide exceptional customer service for every customer on every visit.
- Work with franchise store owners to continuously improve on key company metrics including average ticket amount, labour rates and cost of good sold (COGS).
- Accurately monitor and maintain inventories, the flow of merchandise, and weekly orders.
- Train, coach and mentor store managers on policies, procedures, and proper business practices.
- Assist with new employee training by positively reinforcing successful performance and giving respectful and encouraging coaching as needed.
- Conduct training presentations for technicians on product knowledge, store activities, and established policies and procedures.
- Ensure all customer complaints are addressed and handled professionally and in a timely manner, leaving the customer with a positive resolution.
- Ensure employees have clear goals and have the required training and tools to deliver.
- Ensure that all staff adhere to all health and safety regulations and are equipped with and are using the proper personal protective equipment.
- Evaluate employee performance and provide feedback and coaching. Determine areas needing improvement and provide additional training as needed.
- Greet and assist customers in a manner that models exemplary conduct to other staff, including demonstrating add-on sales and describing technical information to customers to enhance sales competencies.
- Handle employee complaints and incidents, including conflict resolution, accidents, health and safety concerns, work refusals, and investigations.
- Participate in workplace inspections.
- Conduct Store Visitation audits and Business reviews with store owners.
- Develops and implements strategies for profitable expansion to new markets and supports implementation of acquisitions and strategic partnerships.
- Identify & prospect for new Fleet Customers.
- Ensure compliance and adherence of the Franchise Agreement.
Job Requirements:
- Comfortable adapting to new technology.
- Demonstrated ability to calculate figures, work with budgets and understand a company P&L.
- Experience in Franchise Management is required.
- Experience in the automotive service or related sector(s).
- Keen understanding of operational excellence methodology.
- Ability to delegate, set expectations, and monitor progress.
- Ability to identify issues and implement creative and strategic solutions to overcome problems.
- Ability to identify measures of performance and actions needed to improve or correct performance.
- Ability to initiate and model positive change.

- Open availability and flexibility to work occasional nights, weekends, store openings and closings to meet the needs of the business.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Valid Ontario driver's license.
