Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Restaurant Staff to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional guest service, ensuring food safety and sanitation standards, and supporting daily restaurant operations. Ideal candidates will have a passion for the food industry, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to hospitality excellence. Prior restaurant experience and familiarity with food handling and POS systems are preferred but not required. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to grow within the hospitality sector and develop their skills in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service to enhance their dining experience
Take orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS, process transactions, and handle cash responsibly
Assist with food preparation, ensuring all food safety and sanitation standards are maintained
Serve food and beverages efficiently while upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including kitchen stations, dining areas, and service stations
Manage guest requests promptly and professionally, resolving any issues to ensure satisfaction
Support kitchen staff with basic food handling and preparation tasks as needed
Uphold all health and safety regulations related to food industry standards and sanitation practices
Assist in inventory management by monitoring supplies and notifying management of stock needs
Contribute to a positive team environment through effective communication and collaboration

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is a plus
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or tasks efficiently during busy periods
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, billing, and upselling purposes
Experience in serving, cashiering, or kitchen operations is advantageous
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends or holidays if required
