The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Residential Service Plumber to join our team. In this role, you’ll diagnose, repair, and install plumbing systems and fixtures in homes across Durham Region & the GTA. You’ll take the lead on delivering high-quality work, clear communication, and a great customer experience - the standards our brand is known for.
You’ll be expected to work efficiently, stay organized, and uphold all safety and plumbing codes while representing Fast Lane with professionalism and pride. If you take ownership of your work and thrive in a fast-paced residential service environment, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose, repair, install, and maintain residential plumbing systems
- Troubleshoot issues and present clear repair options to customers
- Complete routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems
- Maintain Communication with dispatch
- Handle plumbing emergencies when required
- Keeping accurate records of time, work completed, and materials used
- Mentor apprentices and helpers when needed
- Follow all safety protocols and plumbing codes
- Keep your truck clean, stocked, and job-ready
- Other tasks as assigned.
What Makes YOU Great
- A Licensed Plumber with 2 -3 years of residential service experience
- Strong problem-solving skills and technical knowledge
- Excellent Verbal & written communication Skills
- Works well with a team and supports fellow technicians
- Outstanding Customer Service with Strong Interpersonal Skills
- Valid drivers’ License with a clean record
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Keeps a clean, organized work truck
- Flexible with scheduling - able to support occasional weekends/holidays if needed
