Attic Insulation Installer Assistant
BlueJack Home Services — Durham Region, Ontario
$25–$28/hour, depending on experience and fit
Part-time to start, with a path to full-time as BlueJack continues to grow
BlueJack is looking for a reliable, hard-working Installer Assistant to join an attic insulation truck in the Durham Region.
This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to learn, work hard, and grow with the company. The position will start part-time as our schedule ramps up, with the goal of becoming full-time as BlueJack continues to grow steadily.
We are looking for someone who can be flexible with this setup: someone who is excited to get in early, earn trust, learn the work, and grow into more hours and responsibility over time.
For the right person, this role could also develop into a future Truck Lead position.
If you are dependable, practical, positive, and take pride in doing clean work, this could be a strong fit.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Install Support — Work with the Truck Lead and crew to complete attic insulation installs, prep work, baffles, cleanup, and related tasks.
Material Handling — Load, unload, carry, and organize insulation bags, hoses, tools, and equipment.
Truck Readiness — Help keep the truck clean, stocked, organized, and ready for the next job.
Job-Site Care — Respect the homeowner’s property, help maintain a clean work area, and make sure the job site is left properly.
Learning the Process — Follow direction, learn the BlueJack way of doing the work, and build the skills needed to take on more responsibility over time.
Team Support — Help the crew move efficiently, communicate clearly, and get the job done safely and properly.
How We Work
Excellence Only — No shortcuts, no sloppy work, no “good enough.” We deliver clean installs and clear, professional communication. Every single time.
Bring Your Best Self — Show up on time, prepared, positive, and ready to do the work properly. The crew and the homeowner should be better off because you were there.
Win as a Team — We leave ego at the door, work hard, help each other, and take pride in the final result.
Qualifications & Experience
The Right Fit Comes First — Reliability, work ethic, attitude, flexibility, and willingness to learn matter most. We can train the technical skills for the right person.
Schedule Flexibility — This role will start part-time and ramp up as work volume grows. The right person is comfortable with that path and interested in growing with the role.
Relevant Experience — Attic insulation experience is a great asset. Experience in construction, roofing, HVAC, renovation, framing, landscaping, warehouse work, moving, or other physical hands-on work is also valuable.
Growth Potential — If you show strong reliability, good judgment, pride in your work, and leadership potential, this role could develop into a future Truck Lead position.
Requirements — Ability to lift heavy insulation bags and equipment, comfort working in attics and tight spaces, and reliability in different weather conditions. A valid driver’s licence is preferred.
Why BlueJack?
BlueJack specializes in high-quality attic insulation and energy-efficiency upgrades connected to homeowner rebate programs. We are building a company around strong systems, professional service, above-market pay, and real growth opportunities for high performers.
We are not building an average team. We are looking for someone who wants to learn the work, earn trust, and grow with us.
