Full job description

Please note: This is a hybrid position and is open to candidates in either St. John's, NL or Toronto, ON

The right applicant would be able to get involved early in the company’s growth and make an immediate impact. This position is ideal for a developer with several years of experience and strong skills in problem-solving and working with data. A path to management in this position is available but not required.

Tasks & Duties:

Participate in the development of full-stack software applications
Work to define requirements and develop solutions in an agile environment
Develop data import/export tools and scripts to handle large volumes of structured and unstructured data
Test and document software components
Provide mentorship to less experienced developers as the team grows
Work with a cross-functional team to understand customer needs and translate into product features
Conduct code reviews
Support users in resolving technical issues

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Full-stack development experience, especially with React and Node.js
Experience with SQL and Microsoft SQL Server or other relational databases
Experience working in an AGILE development environment
Familiarity with the Material UI framework and UX concepts
Ability to pick up new concepts quickly
Experience working with a team remotely is a plus
Experience with PowerBI would be a nice-to-have
DevOps skills are a bonus

Compensation:

$90,000 - $110,000 Base Salary
