Full job description

***WELDING TEST WILL BE ADMINISTERED***

Experienced TiG/MiG Welder

Minimum 5 years experience

Please do not apply unless you have 5 years experience - testing is required

Full time permanent position
Must be experienced in Stainless Steel welding:
TIG + MIG procedures

Job Responsibilities & Experience:

Jig & Fixture making for production welding.
Must be able to read drawings and layouts.
Must have an ability to read tape measure and other measuring devices.
Must have experience with custom steel plate fabrication.
Fitting, Brake and Shear experience as asset.
Must be able to work with minimal supervision
Calculate material measurements to verify specifications Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance
Work Experience in a Steel Fabrication for shop for heavy plate and structural welding
Must have worked with high volume welding
Asset: CWB – ticket valid for GMAW & GTAW

Must be a fast learner and a team player

Location - Ajax (Near Go Station)
