Chargé(e) de fournir des informations financières de haute qualité dans les délais impartis

Nous recherchons un comptable senior qui rendra compte au contrôleur de gestion et supervisera l'ensemble du cycle comptable tout en apportant son soutien à la budgétisation, à l'analyse financière et à l'amélioration continue des processus. Ce poste est idéal pour une personne très organisée, qui apprécie le travail en équipe et qui fournit systématiquement des résultats précis et dans les délais.

Responsabilités et tâches :

À ce poste, vous veillerez à ce que l'ensemble du cycle comptable se déroule conformément aux procédures et aux délais établis, notamment :

Comptabilité fournisseurs, comptabilité clients, trésorerie, cartes de crédit, notes de frais, commissions et taxes sur les ventes
Exactitude du grand livre et conformité aux exigences internes et externes
Opérations de fin de période et de fin d'exercice, y compris les écritures comptables et les rapports destinés aux experts-comptables externes
La préparation des états financiers trimestriels et l'analyse financière afin d'identifier les tendances, les risques et les opportunités
La participation au processus de budgétisation en fournissant des données et des prévisions précises
Le rôle de point de contact pour les questions comptables et financières des parties prenantes internes
L'identification et le soutien des opportunités d'amélioration des processus, notamment en tirant parti des solutions informatiques
Collaborer avec les parties prenantes internes pour résoudre efficacement les problèmes interdépartementaux
Contribuer à la documentation des processus et des procédures, ainsi qu'aux tâches administratives de suivi associées

Compétences et qualifications requises :

5 à 7 ans d'expérience pertinente en comptabilité, de préférence dans le secteur manufacturier
Diplôme professionnel (ou équivalent) en comptabilité
Titre de CPA (un atout)
Maîtrise de MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Expérience des systèmes ERP (Infor/Syteline : un atout)
Grand souci du détail, capacité à mener plusieurs tâches de front et esprit d'initiative
Solides connaissances des pratiques comptables et de l'analyse financière
Solides compétences en analyse et en résolution de problèmes
Approche diplomatique, empathique et orientée client
Expérience en amélioration des processus
Excellentes compétences en communication en anglais et en français (écrit et oral)
Expérience en supervision de personnel comptable (un atout)

Justification de l'exigence de la langue anglaise

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to report to the Controller and oversee the entire accounting cycle while supporting budgeting, financial analysis, and continuous process improvement. This position is ideal for someone who is very organized, enjoys collaboration, and consistently delivers accurate and timely results.

What you'll be responsible for:

In this role, you will ensure the full accounting cycle operates according to established procedures and timelines, including:

Accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash, credit cards, expense reports, commissions, and sales taxes

General Ledger accuracy and compliance with internal and external requirements

Period‑end and year‑end activities, including journal entries and reporting for external accountants

Preparation of quarterly financial statements and financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities

Participation in the budgeting process by providing accurate data and forecasts

Acting as a point of contact for internal stakeholders' accounting and financial questions

Identifying and supporting process improvement opportunities, including leveraging IT solutions

Collaborating with internal stakeholders to resolve cross‑departmental issues effectively

Contributing to the documentation of processes and procedures, along with related administrative follow‑up tasks

What we're looking for:

This role suits someone who prefers to support and guide others, sets clear expectations, and builds trust gradually while maintaining high standards.

5–7 years of relevant experience in accounting, ideally in a manufacturing environment

Professional Diploma (or equivalent) in Accounting

CPA designation (asset)

Strong knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Experience with ERP systems (Infor/Syteline an asset)

Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and resourcefulness

Solid knowledge of accounting practices and financial analysis

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

Diplomatic, empathetic, and customer‑oriented approach

Process improvement experience

Excellent communication skills in English and French (written and spoken)

Experience supervising accounting staff (asset)
