Job description:
A Night Auditor serves our guests efficiently, courteously, and in a friendly and professional manner in accordance with our hotel standards. You will be responsible for the overnight operations, verifying the accuracy of guest accounts, balancing charges and revenues, as well as assisting with all aspects of guest services, including security and safety procedures. The Night Auditor will have a professional appearance and demeanor and be able to deal with a wide variety of people and situations.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Post room and tax
- Perform food and beverage audit if required
- Reconcile postings, charges and cash for the day
- Balance all summaries to main computer system
- Balance all cashiers’ postings for the day
- Post any incidental charges required
- Prepare all required daily and summary reports
- Perform back up of computer system
- Provide courteous and professional guest services when required
- Maintains guest security and safety measures
- Utilize instinctive selling techniques and company sales programs to maximize revenue and occupancy levels
- Maintain order and cleanliness at the front desk
- Operate the telephone console
- Process reservation and cancellation requests when required
- Report all system problems to management
- Balance all outlets summaries to the main computer
- Recognize trends in the outlets and room revenue
- Perform other duties as directed by the General Manager
What does an ideal candidate look like?
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Front desk experience is an asset but NOT required
- Must be willing to work Night Audit shifts from 11 PM - 7 AM
- Must be able to work weekends
- Must be willing to get Basic First Aid

Pay: $17.85-$22.00 per hour
