Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting and Project Coordinator to join our team. This role is vital in managing financial records, supporting project activities, and ensuring the smooth operation of accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have experience with various accounting software and possess strong analytical skills to support budgeting, account reconciliation, and financial reporting. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth within a dynamic organization committed to accuracy and efficiency.

Duties

Manage and maintain accounting records using software such as QuickBooks
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections
Perform bank reconciliations and account analysis to verify financial accuracy
Assist with payroll processing and related bookkeeping tasks
Reconcile accounts regularly to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly
Coordinate project-related financial documentation, tracking expenses, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies
Prepare detailed reports for management review and audit purposes
Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting workflows and improve overall efficiency
Support Project Managers with project administration and documentation
Coordinate project schedules, meetings, and communications
Track project budgets, costs, change orders, and contract documentation
Maintain project files, permits, submittals, and closeout documents
Monitor project progress and assist with reporting requirements
Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and clients
Assist with procurement and material tracking
Help ensure projects remain organized, compliant, and on schedule

Experience

Proven experience working with accounting software such as QuickBooks
Strong background in bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and bank reconciliation processes
Prior experience supporting project coordination or administrative functions within an accounting environment is preferred
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills to ensure accuracy in financial data
