As Executive Chef, you know the impact that a beautifully plated meal made from fresh, local ingredients has on a dining experience. In this role, you will have responsibilities such as educating residents and team members about healthy food options; overseeing labor and food costs; building a team dedicated to great food and relationships; developing personal relationships with a community of wonderful people; and ensuring that each member of your team understands all aspects of cooking, food preparation, and presentation.
Above all else, your passion for excellent food and outstanding hospitality will be the “extra” that makes our community stand out above the rest!

The ideal candidate will:

Have a commitment to Touchmark’s values (excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion), as well as a desire to model these values and to encourage others to be allies, friends and givers
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
Have a certificate or degree in culinary arts or a related field
Have at least three years’ experience as a food services director, manager, or chef with leadership responsibilities in a similar environment, with demonstrated success in running a profitable kitchen and managing a team of kitchen staff
Possess a valid food handler’s card, and be willing to obtain First Aid/CPR certification
Be willing to work occasional weekends and holidays
Be able to lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds and stay on your feet for long periods of time
Maintain a positive and professional attitude when dealing with residents, family members, visitors, and team members
