Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) to provide on-site medical support and emergency response services at industrial and oil and gas project sites throughout BC. The ACP plays a critical role in maintaining a safe working environment by delivering immediate medical care, assisting with incident response, and supporting overall site safety initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Emergency Medical Response

· Provide immediate medical assessment, treatment, and stabilization for injured or ill personnel
· Respond to workplace incidents, emergencies, and medical calls
· Coordinate with external emergency services when advanced medical care or transportation is required
· Maintain readiness to respond quickly to emergencies at all times

Safety Support

· Assist with site safety monitoring and hazard identification
· Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and incident investigations
· Promote safe work practices and compliance with company safety procedures
· Support site emergency preparedness plans and response protocols

Medical Equipment Management

·Maintain and inspect all medical kits, supplies, and emergency response equipment
· Ensure all equipment is properly stocked, maintained, and ready for use
· Maintain accurate and confidential patient care and incident documentation

Training & Compliance

· Participate in emergency response drills and safety exercises
· Maintain required certifications and ensure training remains current
· Complete company required training programs and site orientations

Qualifications:

· Valid Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) certification.
· Current registration/license with the provincial regulatory body
· Valid ACLS & CPR certification.
· Valid H2S Alive certification.
· Valid Common Safety Orientation (CSO) certification.
· Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
· Ability to work rotational shifts at remote industrial sites.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

· Rotational work schedules depending on project requirements.
· Exposure to outdoor environments and industrial worksite conditions.
· Long shifts (typically 10–12 hours) in physically demanding settings.

Conditions of Employment:

· Proof of eligibility to work in Canada.
· Valid H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, and Common Safety Orientation (CSO) certifications.
· Completion of Phoenix DATS Training and New Hire Orientation.
· Completion of site-specific orientations and any additional safety requirements.
· Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
