What we offer :

Competitive salary starting at $21.34/hour with salary increases based on months worked ($23.58/hour after 3 months, $25.83/hour after a year, $26.95/hour after 2 years, and $28.07/hour after 3 years);
Evening premium of $1.00/h, if applicable for this position;
Weekly pay;
Full insurance coverage (health, dental, and vision) after the probationary period;
Group RRSP with a $1.25 per hour employer contribution after the probationary period;
Annual raises;
Paid vacation, including 10 paid holidays;
$200 per year for equipment allowance, based on your position;
Telemedicine program and employee assistance program;
Physical activity reimbursement of $600 per year to promote health and well-being.

Join a team! AGF Rebar is seeking a Millwright at our Kitchener location for the afternoon shift.

Evening premium of $1.00/h, if applicable for this position;
Weekly pay;
Full insurance coverage (health, dental, and vision) after the probationary period;

About the Role - Your main responsibilities will include:

Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform immediate repairs and preventive maintenance.
Overhaul and install new equipment as needed.
Rebuild and fabricate parts.
Weld components as required.
Read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams.
Perform facility maintenance and ensure a clean, safe work environment.
Submit parts requests to maintain adequate inventory levels.
Create and complete work orders as assigned.
Conduct equipment changeovers and production line setups.

About You - The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

3+ years of mechanical/electrical/pneumatical/hydraulic experience preferred;
Licensed Millwright or Electrician preferred;
Prior diagnostic/troubleshooting and preventative maintenance experience preferred;
Previous experience within high-speed industrial environment;
Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude;
Basic computer skills;
Ability to follow manufacturers specifications and schematics. #P1
