About Us

Barwick Service is a trusted automotive and commercial vehicle repair shop serving Barwick and surrounding communities. We take pride in providing reliable service with a strong focus on safety, professionalism, and customer care.

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, organized, and safety-focused individual to join our team as a Administrative Assistant / School Bus Driver. This is a full-time dual-role position combining office administration and scheduled school bus driving duties.

Key Responsibilities

Front Desk / Administrative Duties:

Greet customers and answer incoming calls
Schedule appointments and manage service bookings
Process invoices, payments, and basic bookkeeping tasks
Maintain customer records and filing systems
Coordinate communication between customers and technicians
General office organization and support
General shop support as willing and able

School Bus Driver Duties:

Safely operate a school bus on assigned routes
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Ensure student safety and maintain proper conduct on the bus
Follow all Ontario transportation and safety regulations
Report any mechanical or safety concerns promptly

Qualifications

Valid Ontario driver’s license
Willingness to obtain a Class B license
Clean driver’s abstract
Ability to pass an Ontario driver’s medical examination
Ability to pass a Vulnerable Sector Check
Strong communication and customer service skills
Basic computer and office administration skills
Ability to multitask and stay organized
Reliable, punctual, and safety-oriented
Experience in an office setting or driving commercial vehicles is an asset
