Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and energetic Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, engaging, and caring environment for dogs during their stay at our daycare facility. The ideal candidate is passionate about animals, enjoys working in a lively setting, and possesses excellent customer service skills. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you can make a positive impact on pets and their owners alike.

Responsibilities

Supervise and interact with dogs to ensure their safety and well-being throughout the day
Monitor dog behavior and intervene when necessary to prevent conflicts or injuries
Assist with feeding, watering, and administering medication as needed
Maintain cleanliness of the play areas, kennels, and common spaces
Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets’ activities and any concerns
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure environment for both dogs and staff

Experience

Prior experience working with animals is preferred but not required; training will be provided
Strong customer service skills are essential for interacting with pet owners
Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting of up to 50 pounds
Passion for animals and a caring attitude towards pets of all sizes and temperaments
Reliable, responsible, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Previous experience in pet care or related fields is a plus but not mandatory

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour
