Job Overview
We are seeking a versatile and enthusiastic Cafe All-Rounder to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, supporting food and beverage operations, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, strong time management skills, and a passion for delivering quality service in a fast-paced setting.

Duties

Prepare and serve beverages, including coffee and tea, utilizing barista skills.
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling.
Take customer orders accurately and efficiently while providing friendly service.
Assist with food preparation and food safety procedures to ensure high standards are maintained.
Serve food and beverages to customers, ensuring proper presentation and quality.
Manage cash register transactions with basic math skills for accurate cash handling.
Maintain cleanliness of work areas, counters, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety standards.
Support team members during busy periods by assisting with serving, cleaning, or other tasks as needed.
Uphold excellent customer service standards by engaging positively with customers and addressing inquiries or concerns promptly.

Experience

Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, especially in cafes or similar environments.
Barista experience is highly desirable, including knowledge of coffee preparation techniques.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service with a friendly and professional attitude.
Experience in serving, food preparation, cashiering, and food handling is beneficial.
Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy are essential. This position offers an engaging work environment where teamwork, efficiency, and customer satisfaction are valued highly.
