The Opportunity

Fowler Construction is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to support Project Managers and Supervisors in the successful execution of construction projects. This role plays a vital part in maintaining project documentation, tracking progress, ensuring quality control, and assisting with cost management to help drive project success.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain a daily record of worksite activities, safety compliance, inspections, and job progress with photo/video documentation.
Prepare and submit daily timesheets for on-site crews.
Monitor project costs and revenue, tracking budget allocations, production rates, and any cost discrepancies to ensure financial efficiency.
Maintain accurate records of project payments, including invoices and receipts, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
Manage contract documents, drawings, and specifications for project staff and subcontractors.
Oversee project quality control activities to ensure work meets required standards.
Coordinate labor, equipment, and material requirements for the next day's work.
Liaise with inspectors, owner representatives, and the public to maintain clear communication and resolve any issues.
Compile reports for production, payments, and daily quantity tracking.
Assist with grade checking and project layout as needed.
Provide support in other divisions when required.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Key Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Project).
Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills.
Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Valid G driver’s license is required.
2-3 years of Project Coordinator experience preferred.
Certified Engineering Technologist certification or Bachelor of Engineering considered an asset.
