Full job description

Peace River School Division is seeking applications for a Part-Time (0.40 F.T.E.) Educational Assistant at Grimshaw Public School. This position will commence immediately. The successful candidate will be working with a variety of students with diverse needs.

Grimshaw Public School is located in the town of Grimshaw, 20 kms west of Peace River. To find out more about the town, please click

Qualifications:

Educational Assistant Certificate or equivalent
Experience and/or training working with young children

Skills:

Ability to work with children with varied age, skill level, needs and abilities
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with teachers
Ability to work as part of a team
Ability to work independently

Requirements:

Provide an acceptance current Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check

This is a union position under the collective agreement between the

Rate of Pay:

$23.27 to $28.86 per hour (dependent on experience and education in accordance with the collective agreement between the CUPE Local 4839 and the Peace River School Division).
