Express Employment Professionals is proactively recruiting Maintenance Mechanics for anticipated openings with our manufacturing and industrial clients throughout Burlington, Oakville, and Mississauga.

We are looking to connect with mechanically inclined professionals who have experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial equipment. We are anticipating increased hiring demand and are seeking qualified candidates who would like to be considered as new positions become available.

Typical Responsibilities:

Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and conveyor systems.
Install, repair, and maintain manufacturing machinery and equipment.
Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime.
Assist with equipment upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement projects.
Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
Complete maintenance documentation and work orders accurately.
Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Maintenance Mechanic, Industrial Mechanic, Millwright Helper, or similar industrial maintenance role.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
Experience working with conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, motors, bearings, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.
Welding and fabrication experience considered an asset.
Experience in manufacturing, food production, automotive, packaging, or industrial environments preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.

Preferred Experience:

2+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
Exposure to PLC-controlled equipment and automated production lines.
Experience with preventative maintenance programs.
Forklift, scissor lift, or elevated work platform certifications are considered assets.
