Coppley Ltd. is a manufacturer of high quality suits since 1883 and is located in the heart of downtown Hamilton. Job purpose

The AccuMark Clerk is an entry-level position focusing on order documentation and processing to create markers for cutting.

Duties and responsibilities

Entering order information to process.
Download, print, and compact orders.
Confirm order accuracy regarding model, suffix, and cloth information.
Making markers for cutting according to cloth and method of cutting (manual or GTXL), when time permits.
Validating MTM orders as required.
Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
Comply with all Health and Safety requirements.
Additional duties as required.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications required to successfully perform the job:

Post-secondary education is an asset, but not required.
Ability to use a computer effectively including: Excel, Word, working knowledge of AS400 is an asset
Attention to detail is vital
Able to work independently and be self-motivated
Must have good communication skills, oral and written
Flexible to meet constantly changing demands of the workplace
Must be able to read and write proficiently in English

Working conditions

Hours of Work Monday through Thursday 7:00 am – 4:00 pm, Friday 7:00 am - noon
Busy office environment at a desk, answering phone requests and questions from other departments
Some exposure to manufacturing environment

Physical requirements

Constant attention to detail
Able to sit at a desk for long periods of time
Must be comfortable working within a manufacturing environment
Use of a computer and other office equipment.
