Job Summary
Inn The Mountains Hotel is looking for a Part-time Front Desk Agent to work 2 days a week. This may include weekend and evening shifts.

Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Front Desk Agent, where you'll be the welcoming face of our hotel, ensuring every guest receives exceptional service from check-in to check-out. In this energetic role, you'll manage guest inquiries, handle reservations, and create a warm, inviting atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will set the tone for a memorable stay, making a real difference in our guests’ experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your hospitality skills and grow within the hotel industry.

Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression.
Manage guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently using hotel management software.
Handle guest inquiries via phone and in person, offering prompt and courteous assistance.
Process reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately while maximizing occupancy.
Handle phone inquires with excellent phone etiquette to ensure clear communication.
Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience.
Address guest concerns or complaints promptly, demonstrating strong guest relations skills.
Assist with night audit procedures to reconcile daily transactions and ensure financial accuracy.
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to fulfill guest requests swiftly.
Uphold security protocols by monitoring access points and ensuring a safe environment for all guests and staff.

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations.
Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
Multilingual or bilingual abilities to serve diverse guests effectively.
Strong knowledge of hotel management systems.
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for professional guest interactions.
Experience with night audit procedures is a plus for maintaining financial accuracy overnight.
Knowledge of resort or hotel environments, including guest services and hospitality standards.
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
