Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Pastry <PERSON> to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in baking and pastry arts, with a strong focus on creating visually appealing and delicious desserts. This role offers an opportunity to showcase your skills in a dynamic kitchen environment, contributing to the overall customer experience through high-quality pastry offerings.

Duties

Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to established recipes and standards
Decorate cakes and pastries with creative designs, including cake decorating techniques
Ensure all baked goods meet food safety and quality standards
Assist with food preparation and cooking tasks as needed within the kitchen
Package baked items for sale or delivery while maintaining presentation quality
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station and kitchen area
Follow proper food handling procedures at all times
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods

Skills

Proven experience in baking, cake decorating, and food preparation within a restaurant or bakery setting
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling techniques
Ability to operate kitchen equipment efficiently and safely
Excellent customer service skills when interacting with clients or staff
Creativity in decorating cakes and pastries to meet customer expectations
Good organizational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and packaging
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Basic understanding of the food industry standards for hygiene and safety
