Forklift Operator
Monday-Friday Night Shift (2am-10:30am)
Job Description
Join a fast-paced LTL (less-than-truckload) operation where you’ll be on the move all shift—operating forklifts, handling diverse freight, and keeping shipments flowing safely and efficiently. If you’re experienced, safety-focused, and comfortable working at speed, this is a great opportunity to build long-term stability and grow your certifications.
Responsibilities

Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts throughout your shift

Load, unload, stage, and move freight in a busy LTL warehouse

Pick orders and organize shipments based on destination and priority

Use handheld scanners to track and update inventory accurately

Handle a mix of palletized and loose freight, ensuring secure loads

Perform daily equipment inspections and report any issues
Essential Skills
-
Valid forklift license with a minimum of 1 year of experience.

Experience with both sit-down and stand-up equipment
-
Background in shipping/receiving or material handling

Experience in LTL environments (strong asset)

Comfortable working 100% on forklifts in a fast-paced setting

Ability to read/write in English and use scanning systems

TDG & WHMIS certifications (or willingness to obtain)

Strong attention to detail and safety-first mindset
Additional Skills & Qualifications

Previous experience in LTL shipping operations, including handling mixed and partial loads.

Comfort using handheld scanners and basic inventory systems.

Strong attention to detail when recording inventory and handling freight.

Ability to adapt to handling different types of products, including palletized and non-palletized items.

Willingness to obtain TDG and WHMIS certifications through employer-provided training if not already certified.
