Poultry farm worker (chicken and turkey catcher) - NOC #8431

Salary: Hourly - min $19.03/hour for 40.0 hours per week OR piecework (whichever is greater). Overtime offered.

Experience: No experience

Type of Farm Operations: Poultry Chicken, and Turkey catching

Specific Skills: Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry. Load, unload and transfer crates, supplies and farm produce, livestock and poultry. Operate and maintain poultry related machinery and equipment. In the course of catching and loading, employee may be required to operate and maintain basic poultry related machinery and equipment (all non - licence requiring equipment). Follow food safety and security and animal bio-security procedures and other poultry related tasks. Clean and disinfect the work site, including poultry related equipment.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment; Physically demanding; Hand-eye coordination; Bending; Crouching; Kneeling

Transportation/Travel Information: Travel expenses paid by employer

Worksite Environment: Noisy; Odours

Work Location Information: Remote location; Various locations
