This position is for an active vacancy. Posting will be removed once the position has been filled.

We are seeking highly motivated security personnel for positions within a physical security environment specializing in the protection of Corporate client. You will have experience within an industrial environment within a warehouse or distribution center or a similar sector where you are responsible for protecting assets. You have strong customer service acumen with ability to resolve issues with a diverse background of individuals including visitors, truck drivers, contractors and client employees. You are able to perform internal and external patrols in cold and hot conditions.

Position Overview:

Location: Waterloo, Ontario

Available Shift Times: Various

Payrate: $26.00/hr

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform access control provision duties, verify visitor badges and employee badges.
Handling Escalation and emergencies for various client sites.
Responding to alarms around the world where clients operate.
Managing various tasks and updating based on priority.
Using multiple computer systems to research products, services, common problems and solutions offered.
Perform other duties as required.
Managing calls and dispatched into internal company hotlines and dispatching accordingly.
Report writing and detailed follow up on events, occurrences and requests.
Working along directly with Client Team.
Communicate with other countries through email and translating English into the language of the caller.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Valid Ontario Security License.
Valid First Aid and CPR Certification. Red Cross certification is preferred.
2+ years of Security experience within a corporate environment.
Strong understanding of security protocols and procedures, including emergency response
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Team player and outstanding customer service abilities.
Must be available to work various shifts based on business needs.
Attention to detail working in high pressured security environment.
Experience in a Security Operations Centre (SOC) is preferred.
