Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking dishes to specification, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced restaurant environment, contributing to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble ingredients for menu items, ensuring quality and freshness
Cook dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment
Follow food safety protocols and proper handling procedures at all times
Support the team during busy service periods by efficiently managing multiple orders
Ensure all food is stored correctly and inventory levels are maintained
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders

Requirements

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly
Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling practices
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills and good communication abilities
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or evenings if required
