Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Acupuncturist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide holistic acupuncture treatments to patients, promoting wellness and pain relief through safe and effective techniques. This role requires a strong focus on patient care, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of medical terminology. Prior hospital experience is a plus, but a genuine commitment to patient well-being is essential. The Acupuncturist will work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate acupuncture treatment plans
Administer acupuncture treatments using sterile techniques and high standards of safety
Monitor patient responses during sessions and adjust treatments as necessary
Educate patients on post-treatment care and lifestyle modifications to enhance wellness outcomes
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
Collaborate with medical staff to integrate acupuncture into overall patient care strategies
Stay informed about the latest developments in acupuncture practices and holistic health therapies
Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all patients

Requirements

Valid license or certification as an Acupuncturist in accordance with state regulations
Prior experience working in hospital or clinical settings preferred
Strong background in patient care with excellent interpersonal skills
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to holistic health and acupuncture treatments
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations
Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and professionalism
Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in promoting health and well-being

Pay: $40.00-$105.00 per hour
