Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Breakfast Kitchen Manager to lead our morning culinary operations with enthusiasm and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the preparation and presentation of breakfast offerings, ensuring exceptional food quality, safety, and service standards. Your leadership will inspire a dedicated team to deliver a memorable dining experience every morning, fostering a vibrant and efficient kitchen environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise, team management skills, and passion for hospitality in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily breakfast kitchen operations, ensuring all food is prepared to high standards of quality and presentation.
Lead, motivate, and manage kitchen staff, including cooks and food handlers, to maintain a cohesive and productive team.
Oversee food preparation processes, including cooking, plating, and portion control, adhering strictly to food safety regulations.
Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health codes and safety standards to guarantee a safe dining environment.
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth serving of breakfast dishes and timely delivery of orders.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies; place orders as needed to prevent shortages or waste.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with sanitation standards at all times.

Experience

Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting, preferably within breakfast or brunch service.
Extensive food preparation and cooking experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Strong background in food service operations with an understanding of restaurant management principles.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively while fostering a positive work culture.
Knowledge of food safety protocols and handling procedures essential for maintaining health standards.
Previous restaurant or kitchen experience within the food industry is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to serve guests professionally and efficiently.

Minimum Requirements

Strong knowledge of the food and beverage industry.
Understanding of culinary procedures and quality standards.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Capability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address operational challenges.
Experience in organizing and planning staff schedules, inventory management, and cost control.

Working Conditions

Full-time position with early morning, weekend, and holiday availability required.
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Work in a fast-paced, high-heat kitchen environment.
