Job position: Pharmacy Assistant (NOC 33103)

Location: 102-2045 Mayor Magrath Drive S Lethbridge, ABT1K 2S2
Salary: 17.00 to 25.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 32 to 40 hours per week
Terms of employment: Permanent employment / Full time
Schedule: Evening, Flexible hours, Night, Day, Weekend
Start date: As soon as possible

Languages : English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Work setting: Pharmacy or drugstore

Responsibilities and Tasks
– Ensure the information on prescriptions is accurate
– Enter client information in databases
– Help pharmacists
– Maintain inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products
– Maintain prescription records
– Prepare medications for clients
– Clean, maintain equipment and maintain supplies
– Compound, package and label pharmaceutical products
– Help with scheduling and workflow
– Bill third party insurers
– Maintain inventories of medications and prescription records of pharmaceutical products
– Process claims such as health insurance or workers compensation
– Manage routine office functions including reception, telephone and booking appointments
– Order supplies and equipment
– Organize and maintain inventory
– Schedule and confirm appointments
