Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team of our Restaurant Wild Fig, in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of food safety, kitchen operations, and restaurant management. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for menu creation, staff training, and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.

Duties

Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to food safety standards.
Create innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences.
Manage kitchen staff, providing training and mentorship to foster a collaborative work environment.
Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to maintain health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with the management team to optimize food costs and inventory control.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
Engage with guests to receive feedback and enhance their dining experience.
Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques into the kitchen practices.

Experience

Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role within the food industry.
Strong background in hospitality and food service management.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with effective communication skills.
Knowledge of bartending practices is a plus but not required.
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and cooking techniques essential for high-quality meal preparation.
Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation practices.
