About AMFIIT

AMFIIT is a Toronto-based health and wellness company delivering on-site fitness services where people live, work, and play. We specialize in personal training, small group training, group fitness classes, corporate wellness, senior wellness, and community programming throughout the GTA.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and professional Aqua Fit Instructor to lead a weekly Aqua Fit class within one of our condominium communities.

Position Overview

The Aqua Fit Instructor will be responsible for planning and leading engaging, safe, and effective aquatic fitness classes for adults of varying fitness levels. The ideal candidate is energetic, reliable, and passionate about creating a welcoming environment while maintaining the highest standards of participant safety.

Responsibilities

Plan and lead safe, engaging 45-minute Aqua Fit classes.
Adapt exercises for different fitness levels and abilities.
Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for participants.
Conduct a brief safety orientation before each class.
Begin each class with an appropriate warm-up and finish with a cool-down.
Monitor participants throughout the class and modify exercises as needed.
Follow all AMFIIT safety standards and condominium policies.
Maintain professionalism and represent the AMFIIT brand positively.
Communicate any participant concerns or incidents to AMFIIT management.

Required Qualifications

Applicants must possess:

Recognized Aquatic Fitness Certification (Canfitpro Aquafitness, WaterART, YMCA, or equivalent)
Current CPR-C & AED Certification
Current Standard First Aid Certification
Group Fitness Instructor Certification (Canfitpro, ACE, AFAA, YMCA, or equivalent)
Professional Liability Insurance (or ability to obtain prior to first class)
Legal eligibility to work in Canada

Preferred Qualifications

Experience teaching Aqua Fit classes.
Experience working with older adults and beginner exercisers.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Professional, dependable, and punctual.
Passion for helping others improve their health and well-being.

Schedule

Approximately 1 class per week (45 minutes) initially.
Additional opportunities may become available as AMFIIT expands its condominium wellness programming throughout Toronto.

Compensation

Competitive contractor compensation based on experience and qualifications.
