Full job description

Job Functions:

Responsible for welcoming guests through check-in and out of hotel, receiving payment, correcting account and reservation discrepancies, creating and cancelling reservations and act as the main liaison between the guest and the hotel.
Promptly and effectively, deal with guest complaints and request
Reconciliation of the day’s transactions
Performing the closing of the day in OnQ the PMS system at the hotel.
Performs the completion of the Night Audit Check list and Ensures the Night Audit Functions are completed and all reports distributed in a timely Manner.
Input financial reports for management and submit deliveries to guest’s rooms.
Security walks inside and outside of property.
Provide support and solutions to guest concerns or situations and ensure follow-up action is taken.
Follow all required hotel & company policies.
Maximize room occupancy at best rates and use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities.
Monitor the appearance, standards, and performance of the Front Office Team Members.
Maintain good communication and working relationships with all hotel departments.
Establish and build relationships with guests to ensure all service expectations are exceeded.
Ensure & comply with company safety policies, procedures and guidelines.

Requirements:

Available to work weekdays, weekends and flexible to work various shifts/days, nights based on business requirements.
Excellent planning and organizing skills.
Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability multi-task and meet deadlines.
Positive attitude
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to work alone and work with all team members in a professional and courteous manner.
Have previous experience as a Frond Desk or Night Auditor within a hotel industry.
Professional, detail-oriented and works well in a fast-paced environment· Hospitality Management diploma or degree preferred.
Previous Hilton experience an asset.
Be eligible to work within the Canada on a fulltime.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$19.50 per hour
