Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and creative Pastry Chef to join our dynamic culinary team! In this energetic role, you will craft exquisite Italian pastries, desserts, and baked goods that delight our guests. Your expertise in decorating, baking, and food preparation will be essential in delivering visually stunning and delicious treats. As a key player in our kitchen, you will bring enthusiasm, precision, and innovation to every creation while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality. Duties

Prepare a variety of baked goods including pastries, cookies, and desserts with attention to detail and presentation.
Decorate cookies and desserts using advanced cake decorating techniques to create visually appealing masterpieces.
Ensure all food handling and preparation adhere to strict food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
Assist in food preparation tasks such as mixing, baking, portioning, and packaging to ensure timely service.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new recipes and improve existing offerings for seasonal menus or special events.
Maintain cleanliness of work stations, equipment, and storage areas to uphold hygiene standards.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests about our pastry selections and accommodating special requests when possible.

Experience

Proven experience working as a Pastry Chef or in a similar bakery or restaurant environment.
Strong skills in cake decorating, baking techniques, and food presentation.
Hands-on experience with food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation practices.
Familiarity with food industry standards for quality control and consistency.
Previous kitchen experience in a fast-paced setting is highly desirable.
Knowledge of food preparation methods across various pastry styles is preferred.
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team while maintaining attention to detail.
