Full job description

Job Summary

We are currently seeking an experienced and safety-oriented AZ Shunter Driver to support our warehouse and yard operations in Hamilton, Ontario. The successful candidate will be responsible for moving trailers safely and efficiently between dock doors, staging areas, and yard locations to support daily warehouse operations.

Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of Shunting experience and demonstrate strong backing and trailer handling skills.

Responsibilities

Perform trailer shunting and spotting within the warehouse yard
Move trailers to and from loading docks safely and efficiently
Coordinate with warehouse staff, dispatch, and shipping departments
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment
Ensure trailers are properly secured and positioned at dock doors
Maintain an organized and safe yard environment
Follow all company safety policies and MTO regulations
Report mechanical issues, damages, or safety concerns promptly
Assist warehouse operations when required

Requirements

Valid Ontario AZ Driver’s License
Minimum 2 years of AZ driving and shunting experience
Clean Driver’s Abstract and CVOR
Strong backing, parking, and trailer maneuvering skills
Experience working in warehouse or distribution yard environments preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Good communication and teamwork skills
Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
Legally authorized to work in Canada

This Job is from Monday to Friday 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM in Milton with 45 Hours Per Week in Warehouse.

Note: Candidate must be eligible to work Full Time for any Employer in Canada.

Pay: $23.75-$25.75 per hour

Work Location: In person
