Join our growing Systems Integration team and work with integrated security technologies across the Greater Toronto Area.

OHM Security continues to grow and provide professional security services throughout Greater Toronto, with clients in a wide variety of sectors, including government, retail, commercial, industrial, and residential properties. Our mission is to deliver the highest quality service in each interaction that reflects a strong and respectful culture.

We are seeking experienced Security Systems Technicians to join our team. The role is based in the Greater Toronto Area, with consideration given to candidates residing in or near Milton, Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, North York, Etobicoke, Scarborough, Markham, or Richmond Hill.

Responsibilities

Install and service electronic security systems, including CCTV, intrusion alarms, and access control systems
Perform pre-wiring, installation, programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance tasks
Provide administrative support and coordinate project details and updates with office team members, service and project managers
Schedule flexibility with the ability to work as required before or after your regularly scheduled hours, and/or on a day when you are not regularly scheduled to work

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience in Access Control, CCTV, or Intrusion Systems
Security Systems Low Voltage Program certification an asset
Valid Ontario Driver's License (Class G or equivalent) with a clean driving record
High standards for safety and security. Working at HeightsBoom Lift certifications are a plus
Experience with project planning, installation, testing, and documentation
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Proficiency in computers, Microsoft Office applications and networking infrastructure
Experience with ULC systems is an asset
Able to legally work in Canada, and currently residing in the country
Self motivatedproblem solver
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
