We are seeking a friendly and attentive Serveur to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food service environments. This role offers an opportunity to work in a lively setting where guest satisfaction is our top priority. Previous experience with POS systems, such as Micros POS, and a solid understanding of food safety and sanitation standards are highly valued. The Serveur will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, efficient order handling, and effective communication.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide prompt, courteous service throughout their dining experience
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, including Micros POS
Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
Ensure proper food handling and sanitation procedures are followed at all times
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen operations
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas
Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables while providing attentive guest services
Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred
Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Basic math skills for order entry, billing, and cash handling
Excellent communication skills for effective guest interactions and teamwork
Experience with food industry operations including serving, upselling, and cashiering is desirable
A genuine interest in hospitality and guest services to create memorable experiences for guests
