AV Project Manager
As a leading provider of exhibit and conference event solutions, Pro-X Event partners with clients across North America to bring their events to life. We are seeking a highly organized and personable AV Project Manager with a strong background in live event production to join our growing team.
This is an opportunity to combine your technical audio-visual expertise, client relationship skills, and project management experience in a role that oversees events from concept to completion. Working from our Mississauga head office and travelling to events across North America, the AV Project Manager plays a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and above client expectations.

- Mississauga, Ontario (head office)
- Travel throughout North America
Your Day-to-Day:
- Manage client events from initial inquiry through successful completion, serving as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle
- Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives, technical requirements, budgets, and expectations
- Develop project plans, timelines, equipment requirements, and labour schedules to ensure seamless event execution
- Prepare quotations and proposals based on project scope, resource requirements, and client needs
- Coordinate internal resources, technicians, vendors, and suppliers to ensure all event requirements are met
- Monitor project budgets, track costs, and identify opportunities to maximize efficiency while maintaining quality
- Communicate project updates, timelines, and changes with clients and internal stakeholders on a regular basis
- Coordinate equipment, labour, transportation, and cross-rentals as required to support event delivery
- Anticipate challenges, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to keep projects on track
- Maintain detailed project documentation and ensure all event information is accurate and up to date
- Support on-site event execution when required, ensuring client expectations are exceeded
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes, workflows, and the overall client experience

- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with clients, vendors, technicians, and internal teams
- Strong understanding of audio-visual equipment, live event production, and event workflows
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driver's licence and ability to travel as required
- Valid passport or ability to obtain one
- 5+ years of experience as an AV Project Manager, Technical Director, AV Technician, Show Lead, or similar live event production role
- Previous project management, client management, estimating, or event planning experience is considered an asset

Pay: $70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
