Full job description

Biotrial, organisation de recherche clinique sous contrat, implantée à Newark NJ, US, Rennes, France, Montréal QC, Canada, recherche un comptable H/F pour renforcer son équipe à Laval QC, Canada.

Vos responsabilités seront les suivantes:

Réaliser les opérations comptables quotidiennes, y compris les comptes payables et recevables, les rapprochements bancaires, la paie, le programme d'assurance et autres tâches administratives pour le site canadien.
Réaliser les opérations comptables payables quotidiennes pour le site américain, ainsi que les suivis et réconciliation bancaires.
Assister le contrôleur nord-américain dans la préparation des états financiers, des suivis des coûts, des audits ou toute tâche connexe.

Expérience et compétences souhaitées:

DEC (diplôme d'études collégiales) en comptabilité avec expérience significative ou Baccalauréat en comptabilité.
Maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office, en particulier Excel.
Maîtrise de l'anglais.
Une expérience dans l’utilisation des logiciels de comptabilité.
Une expérience des systèmes de paie canadiens est un plus.
Un titre CPA est un plus.
Capacité à établir de bonnes relations de travail avec les parties prenantes internes et externes.

We are Biotrial, a growing Clinical Research Organization with research facilities in Newark NJ; US; Rennes, France; and Montreal, Quebec, Canada is seeking an Accountant to strengthen team in Laval QC, Canada.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Execute day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, payroll, insurance program and other related administrative tasks for the Canadian Facility.
Carry out daily accounts payable operations for the U.S. site, as well as bank reconciliations and follow-up.
Assist the North American Controller in the preparation of financial statements, cost tracking, audits and other related tasks as may be assigned.

Education and Experience:

DEC (Diploma of Collegial Studies) in accounting with significant experience or Bachelor's degree in accounting.
Experience with accounting software (Quickbooks or other).
Experience with Canadian payroll systems (Quickbooks payroll or other) is preferred.
CPA designation is an asset.

Other Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Fluency in English required; fluency in French is an asset.
Ability to establish good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Team spirit.
Proactive, positive and self-motivated attitude.
