Full job description

Parts for Trucks has been an industry leader providing parts and service to the heavy-duty trucking industry for over 100 years. We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for the position of Branch Manager at our Kentville location. As the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the branch, including store and warehouse management, customer service, safety, and facility maintenance. Your role will involve working closely with Outside Sales Representatives to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all operational aspects of the branch, including store and warehouse management, customer service, safety, and facility maintenance.
Demonstrate effective leadership by empowering team performance, providing constructive coaching, and cultivating a team-oriented atmosphere through positive interactions and goal setting.
Maintain regular contact with customers to promptly address and resolve any concerns.
Work with the Outside Sales Representative to assess and meet customer needs effectively.
Facilitate training and development opportunities for branch staff to support their professional growth.
Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, including sales reporting, cash handling, inventory management, and health & safety protocols.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in a management or leadership role within the heavy-duty truck and trailer parts industry or a related industry.
Post-secondary training in Parts Management and/or Business Administration would be beneficial.
Experience in automotive, industrial, or agricultural parts sales is advantageous.
Strong interpersonal, time management and critical thinking skills.
Results driven with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Demonstrated leadership and people management skills.
Proficiency in technology, including Microsoft Office products and inventory control software.
