About The Role
We are looking for a reliable, organized and client-focused Part-Time Venue Coordinator & Event Host to support the operations of a new boutique event and studio venue.
This role is focused primarily on weekend event execution and client support, ensuring every booking runs smoothly while delivering a premium guest experience. During quieter periods between bookings, this role will support venue administration, booking management, marketing initiatives, and general venue operations working alongside a growing PR agency, Marigold PR.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone interested in gaining experience across events, hospitality, marketing, client services, and business operations while helping grow an exciting new venue business.
Key Responsibilities
Event & Client Experience
- Serve as the primary onsite contact during client rentals and venue bookings, ensuring an exceptional client experience
- Support room setup, furniture movement, venue resets, and event turnover between bookings
- Remain onsite during bookings to support client needs and troubleshoot issues when needed
- Assist with venue opening and closing procedures throughout the weekend
Venue Operations
- Maintain overall cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the venue
- Monitor inventory, venue supplies, and operational needs
- Assist with furniture setup and movement as needed
- Support light maintenance tasks and report operational issues proactively
Administrative & Booking Support
- Assist with responding to client inquiries and booking requests
- Support scheduling, contracts, invoices, rental agreements, and booking documentation
- Help manage booking calendars and maintain organized backend administrative systems
- Work within venue booking platforms, CRM systems, Google Workspace, and digital scheduling tools
- Assist with client communication before and after bookings to ensure a seamless experience
Marketing Support
- Capture event photos and video content during bookings for marketing purposes
- Support social media scheduling, content creation, and promotional initiatives
- Assist with local marketing efforts and community outreach to help drive new bookings
- Support ongoing efforts to grow venue awareness and recurring business opportunities
Ideal Candidate
- Organized, dependable, and highly detail-oriented with an entrepreneurial edge
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
- Comfortable using/learning digital tools including booking platforms, scheduling software, Google Workspace, Canva, and social media platforms
- Interest in events, hospitality, marketing, or venue operations
- Comfortable in a hands-on operational role with venue setup and guest support responsibilities
- Must be able to lift and move up to 30 lbs for furniture setup and event preparation
- Flexible availability Friday through Sunday is essential
- Positive attitude with a willingness to jump in wherever needed
Compensation
- Part-time hourly role (10–15 hours per week)
- Weekend-based schedule (Friday–Sunday)
- Compensation: $20–$23/hour depending on experience
